My wife went to start her 1994 Galant. Nothing happened. The battery was charged and all electrical was working. I removed the starter and had it checked. It was bad. I put in a new starter with the same results. I have since replaced the battery and cables. It still does not work. I can remove the starter and hook up the wire and cables and it works fine. The drive is not binding and the engine is free. With the starter installed, when the key is turned to start the battery discharges to the point that all electrical fails. I have disconnected all chasis electrical except the starter and then shorted across from the battery post on the selenoid to the starter motor and the battery will boil just like a dead short. This is the third starter I have tried so I don't think it is a starter problem. I would like to find a wiring diagram for this auto and if anyone has an idea let me know. Thanks
